to the brand-spankin' new art archive here on Team Artail! I've got a few
things to say about the way some things are gonna work now, so please take
the time to read the following, I'm sure it will answer most of your questions.

Okay, I'm not sure
what order to put these in, so I'll just list them off as I think of them PLEASE
read these before emailing me any questions. ^_^;
- This archive has the
same acceptance policy as the old one. Only artists who I accept will be allowed
to post art. Basically, if your name isn't on the list at the next page, it
won't do you any good to click the "Upload" button, as the artists
are required to login to do so. I do intend to bring in some new artists soon,
as soon as I make sure everything goes well with this script with people actually
using it. I've already got some people in mind (I've seen some REALLY good
stuff from some people in my email), so I'll be contacting them probably within
the next few weeks.
- If you would like your
art to be hosted here, you can email a few sample pictures (In JPG, GIF, or
PNG format only please) to fanart@artail.org.
Please note that there are hundreds of artist submissions and not everyone
can make it onto the site, I try to pick out my personal favorites among all
the art that comes in, and a lot of times I don't have time to respond to
each individual submission to give comments and criticism.. sorry! ^_^;
- If you're an artist
already hosted here and you forgot your login information or haven't picked
a login/pass yet, you can just contact me about it. That goes for wanting
it changed too.
- New art is now posted
at the BEGINNING of each artist's section, no longer at the end.
- The image totals and
"New" page don't update instantly. Those need to be reindexed by
me to update and I plan on doing it at least once a day. When
new art is posted by an artist, it does show up in their section instantly
though.
- The old archive will
remain where it is and as it is for the forseeable future. I have no intention
of taking it down or moving all the art to this new system, as it would take
a very long time to do. If you would like your art or any part of it removed
from the old archive, feel free to ask me to do so... though I really don't
like taking DOWN art ^_^;;
- If you would like an
image removed from this new system, you'll need to contact me for that also.
